# The Square Footage Calculator

> Free online square footage and area calculators for 31 geometric and construction shapes. Each calculator converts between feet, yards, meters, inches, centimeters, and kilometers, estimates material cost, and (for ground-area shapes) converts area plus a depth into cubic feet, cubic yards and bag counts for mulch, gravel, topsoil, sand and concrete.

All calculations run client-side in the browser. Results are estimates for planning; users should verify measurements and add a waste allowance before ordering materials.
